Why is an Emergency Evacuation Drill necessary?
Besides the fact that it is required by law it is an excellent way to determine and enhance the actions of people during an emergency situation. No person knows how he/she will react in these circumstances. The emergency teams (first aiders, fire marshals and evacuation wardens) also have the opportunity to practice their responsibilities during the evacuation drill.
Emergency Evacuation Drills are more than a legal requirements it can be turned into a fun team-building experience with acting, scenarios and practical involvement.
